weekend plans | halloween costumes | ordering new clothes online and having them fit | holiday-themed dessert (tomorrow i’m attempting the inside-out caramel apples I mentioned before!) | having one day when I’ve completed all my assignments and haven’t been issued any new ones, bliss | spending part of the weekend with my long-distance best friend | an organized desk | laughing with my boyfriend until I can’t breathe | getting up the courage to wear red nail polish
Something I don’t love: the news I just got. Please pray for my very good friend Kerry, who I’ve just found out has been in an accident involving an 18-wheeler. I don’t know much yet, except that he has a broken back, collarbone, jaw, and several other injuries. Any prayers you send his way are so appreciated.
Happy Halloween, Nation! My roommate’s birthday also happens to be the day before Halloween, and this weekend is her costume-birthday-party. There’s even a theme this year: classic halloween costumes. We were each preassigned one; skeleton, vampire, ghost, pumpkin, frankenstein, etc. Yours truly will be a black cat this Friday Now for the Halloween treats I’ve gathered for you:
These spooky lego houses are so impressive.
Want to get the holiday feel without donning a full costume? Try these halloween-inspired nail designs (Thanks AJ!)
Cute little origami bats!
I really want to try making these inside-out caramel apples. So adorable, and there’s chocolate in them! Maybe I’ll make some to bring to the party.
PS, isn’t this little guy adorable? I’m loving the Max costume from Where the Wild Things Are.
